Alcatel 3L (2020)
The new Alcatel 3L smartphone is equipped with an IPS type screen with a diagonal of 6.22 inches displaying an HD + definition, i.e. 720×1520 pixels. It is in 19: 9 format. It has a notch that hides a digital camera sensor. It has 8 megapixels and is associated with a flash that allows you to take a selfie even if the light is lacking.
To operate, the Alcatel 3L relies on a Mediatek MT6762 octo-core processor at 2 GHz and 1.5 GHz associated with 4 GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 64 GB. Note that it is possible to d ” insert a micro SD card up to 32 GB to reach a usage space of 50 GB, according to the manufacturer. 3 on-board photo sensors
For the photo part, the Alcatel 3L has the main sensor on the back of 48 megapixels with f / 1.8 aperture which allows it to capture a maximum of light and therefore to be able to produce relatively clear images even if there is little light. In addition, this component is based on the “4 in 1 big pixel” technology which combines 4 pixels in a larger one to favor the sensitivity of the sensor to light. There is also another 5 megapixel sensor for wide angle up to 115 degrees. Finally, the last 2 megapixel sensor is dedicated to macro shots.
The Alcatel 3L has a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh. There is a fingerprint reader on the back of the mobile, but it is possible to unlock it thanks to facial recognition. The device is Wi-Fi n, Bluetooth 5.0, but not NFC. FM radio is there. It can support two nano SIM cards and one memory card simultaneously. The mobile measures 158.7×74.6×8.45 mm and weighs 165 grams.
The mobile sports a design called “Aurora” made possible by micro laser engravings on a scintillating gradient background. The new Alcatel 3L smartphone will be available in the first quarter of 2020 for around 140 euros. It will be available in Chameleon Blue and Dark Chrome finishes.
Alcatel 1S (2020)
The Alcatel 1S smartphone returns this year with a new 2020 version. Indeed, the Alcatel 1S now benefits from an all-metal design with two colors: gray or green. It uses the same screen as the Alcatel 3L model, an IPS surface with HD + definition in 19: 9 format and with a small notch housing the 5 megapixel front photosensor (also associated with a flash).
Still Mediatek, but with 3 GB of RAM
On the performance side, the smartphone has a Mediatek MT6762D octa-core chipset at 1.8 GHz and 1.5 GHz combined with 3 GB of RAM and has 32 GB of internal storage space expandable via a micro SD card that can up to 128 GB. Again, regular backups to the Cloud are recommended.
13 + 5 + 2 megapixel photosensors
To take photos, the Alcatel 1S has three sensors. The main one uses 13 megapixels while the second with 5 megapixels has the Bokeh function for portraits. Finally, the last sensor is 2 megapixels. It is used for shooting in macro mode. The device is capable of filming with Full HD 1080p definition at 30 frames per second.
Already available for an ultra-affordable price
As with the Alcatel 3L, the 1S has a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh. There is a fingerprint reader on the back, but the mobile can also be unlocked with facial recognition. Two SIM cards (nano format) are supported or a single SIM and a memory card. The “Aurora” design is also in the spotlight here. The mobile is available in green or gray. It is available for around 100 euros.
Alcatel 1B, under Android 10 Go Edition
The third mobile to be announced by TCL Communication is the entry-level model, Alcatel 1B. It is powered by Android 10 GB Edition. It is based on a 5.5-inch IPS screen displaying a resolution of 720×1440 pixels in 18: 9 format. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor associated with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage space expandable with a micro SD card up to 32 GB.
The multimedia part is guided by the single 8 megapixel sensor on the back of the device. Up front, we can count on the presence of another lens with 5 megapixels. The Alcatel 1B is capable of filming with Full HD 1080p definition at 30 frames per second. It supports two SIM cards and one memory card simultaneously. There is no fingerprint reader on this model. Its battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh.
The new Alcatel 1B smartphone will be available during the first quarter of 2020 for around 80 euros. It will be available in black or green.
